@strawberryeovi old kpop is hip/hop, american pop/european pop in korean, mostly EDM, R&B. he could just say he missed R&B and EDM. now It's just kpop adopting diff sound which bends more towards generic pop. if generic pop was the trend in old kpop he would have said pop is true kpop sound.
