It's a stark reminder how two-faced the South African government is when you see the gigantic Amazon building going up in Cape Town. Built on a wetland with so much manipulation to get the permits for it passed. Jeff Bezos is ok but Elon Musk isnt. Amazon delivers mostly Chinese manufactured goods door to door competing with local industries and local eCommerce businesses while @Starlink and @elonmusk are banned who will bring the entire country online and 5000 schools connectivity. South Africa is not a serious country.
