AJ Brown admits his media comments were a STRATEGY:
“I knew if I say something in the media, it’s going to propel us to work on it… pressure isn’t always a bad thing.”
The cryptic tweets were intentional all along. 👀
Two days until AJ Brown is gone and I’m so torn on how to feel.
Part of me is grateful for the 1,400-yard seasons, elite WR play we longed for, two Super Bowl appearances and one championship.
The other part of me is mad that he’s voluntarily breaking up the best core the Eagles have ever had just 2 years after signing an extension and saying he’d retire here.
Part of me is sad he’s already moving on, but part of me is glad the constant drama and selfish diva behavior is leaving.
Where do you stand on AJ right now?
The Patriots and Eagles are “not particularly close” on a deal for AJ Brown, per @RapSheet.
New England is reportedly unwilling to give up a first-round pick.
“[The Patriots are] not willing to give up a first-round pick as of right now… There’s a chance this could drag on.”
St. Joe's legend Jameer Nelson is a candidate to be the next president of the Philadelphia 76ers, and at the very least, is a "favorite to receive a promotion." 👀
"Nelson, among others, is a candidate to become the 76ers’ next president of basketball operations. He is Philadelphia’s strongest internal candidate, as he served this season as assistant general manager."
