Wells Fargo just dropped a massive batch of calls and sells.
What they're upgrading:
- $SPCX SpaceX: Initiated Overweight at $230
- $APP AppLovin: PT raised to $575
- $PINS Pinterest: PT raised to $30
- $TTWO Take-Two: PT raised to $289
- $U Unity: PT raised to $36
- $RDDT Reddit: PT raised to $187
- $MGM MGM Resorts: Upgraded, PT raised from $33 to $48
What they're cutting:
- $SNAP Snap: PT slashed from $7 to $5
- $CHTR Charter: PT cut to $160 (Underweight)
- $CMCSA Comcast: PT cut to $28 (Underweight)
- $PGR Progressive: Downgraded to Underweight
- $CAG Conagra: Underweight
- $CPB Campbell Soup: Underweight
- $GIS General Mills: Underweight
Three things:
1. Digital ads and gaming are the new favorites. AppLovin, Pinterest, Reddit, Take-Two, Unity all raised. Wells Fargo sees ad spend accelerating into the back half of 2026.
2. They believe legacy media is dead money. Snap cut to $5. Charter and Comcast both Underweight. Cord cutting and social media fatigue are structural, not cyclical.
3. Food stocks are uninvestable. Three Underweights in one sweep: Conagra, Campbell's, General Mills. Margins under pressure, no pricing power left, dividends at risk.
And they just initiated SpaceX at Overweight, which is very interesting.
