@GenAI_is_real with that being said, why do we need agents in the first place? instead of building fragile infras for agent as a vague concept. an alternative is to ditch the idea altogether and create something truly new and interesting.
Don’t be upset about the DHH elixir drama. I mean 10 years ago a lot of Erlang experts thought elixir is a toy and didn’t take elixir community’s efforts seriously. And now?
Many Erlang projects are using Elixir tools and libraries to build and develop.
Erlang/OTP formally adopted Elixir’s doc tooling and monad design.
Give the world some time.
What is the difference between elixir and Erlang
Erlang is very physics, everything is concurrent by default
Elixir is more mathematical, not numerical but proof-oriented math, because it combines the spec/unit test culture of Ruby and the necessity to validate concurrency behavior in Erlang world.
I think within the next 5~10 years, almost all mathematicians and physicists will migrate to Elixir-based formal and computation frameworks/libraries.
Although it might not be on BEAM necessarily since AI can build compilers.
