I'm a Nigerian 🇳🇬 whose New Zealand work visa has just been approved. I have a genuine job waiting for me, and I'm expected to be in New Zealand within the next week to begin this new chapter of my life.

But right now, I'm facing a painful reality: I don't have the money for my flight ticket, and I haven't been able to buy the basic things I need for the journey. I have the visa. I have the opportunity. What I don't have is the money to get on the plane.

I know there are many people asking for help online, and I don't expect anyone to simply believe me. I'm willing to provide proof of my visa, employment and travel requirements privately to anyone who genuinely wants to verify my story.
