He's measuring from the point that it made a new ATH, as in the point where the price first exceeded the previous top.
@CryptoScout78@Vivek4real_ You're thinking of the top. He's measuring from the point that it made a new ATH, as in the point where the price first exceeded the previous top. His chart illustrates this pretty clearly.

@thinkabitmor@JackRackhamLive@OwenBenjamin It's not measured by those metrics. Its value is measured by and derived from, energy (mining - proof of work), security (cryptography - decentralized blockchain), and transparency (public ledger).
@thinkabitmor@JackRackhamLive@OwenBenjamin Nothing imaginary about it. Every transaction is on a decentralized public ledger and can be audited by anyone. Ownership is proven through cryptographic keys. I implore you to research it more. You might be surprised at the inherent value of the technology behind it.
@thinkabitmor@JackRackhamLive@OwenBenjamin Fast, Secure and Transportable. You can hold vast amounts of wealth in a cold wallet and travel anywhere in the world with just a password in your head. Most importantly, it's decentralized and governments can't just create more of it like they do with fiat.
@nadinecarroll@CptAncapistan@ComicDaveSmith Let's go with your understanding for a moment then.
If the number of Palestinian civilian casualties is inflated, then let's imagine a lower number.
What number is acceptable to you?
@nadinecarroll@CptAncapistan@ComicDaveSmith Even if a peaceful agreement isn't possible, that doesn't give them the right to intentionally bomb innocent people on the opposing side.
If we can't agree on that, then I guess we have different fundamental principles.
@nadinecarroll@CptAncapistan@ComicDaveSmith Except Dave did answer and his answer was clear. There must be an alternative way to end the conflict while protecting innocent lives.
He is well aware that Hamas uses human shields and of course they would use tactics like that in an asymmetric warfare situation.
@myDeFiTalks @Macro_AB @benjamincowen Most people will feel safe enough with the custodians offering insurance, just like fiat banking. If there's a major hack we'll see if they can truly compensate the customers.
