A lot of women don’t realize that the hate they throw at other women is just unhealed envy. You’re not mad at her, you’re mad that you want to do what she’s doing but you haven’t had the energy, motivation, or mindset to start.

And that’s okay. But you have to be real with yourself. Because watching another woman put in work and glow from the inside out shouldn’t make you bitter, it should inspire you to work on yourself.

A B2B company paid me to audit their sales department.

They wanted more leads, pipeline, and demos of course...

But I actually found something else entirely.

60% of their prospects were dropping off after the first demo.

This is a huge leak.

Had nothing to do with the reps talent or the product.

They weren't even aware let alone WHY deals were dying at that exact stage.

So I did my thing...

- Reviewed call recordings
- Watched sales meeting recordings
- Mapped their entire buying journey

We made three changes:

1- Added a discovery call BEFORE the demo to uncover their unique situation

(This actually eliminated 2 steps in the sales process near the end, so it actually shortened the sales cycle.)

2- Completely rewrite their pitch and made a new deck

3- Changed the SDR script, did a training with that team, so this helped improve HOW the prospects were showing up with the AEs

Demo to close rate went from 11% to 28%.

That one fix added ~$15M to their business without ANY increase in lead volume.

Proud of them.

Most companies assume they need more at the top of the funnel.

But if you're losing 60% of deals at one stage, adding more leads just means more losses.

Fix the leak first.

Then turn on the faucet.

Said this before but I’ll say it again. Just one lifetime ago in the UK, our grandfathers could buy a home, buy a car, have 3 to 4 children, wives could stay home, take annual vacations, and then retire… all on one middle-class salary. What happened?
We had same day GP, ambulances within minutes, dentists, good education, decent public transport, clean river and beaches. So AGAIN WTF happened?
