The 44th Joint Steering Committee Meeting of the U.S.-Japan Cooperative Program on Neutron Scattering was held over two days, June 22 and 23, at the JAEA Tokai Mirai Base.
This committee meeting, conducted under the long-standing framework of international collaboration on neutron scattering between the United States and Japan since 1983, included reports on recent program activities, and in-depth discussions on the future direction of research cooperation.
In addition, the meeting provided a valuable opportunity for active exchange among early-career researchers, opening new avenues for collaboration.
Registration is now open for the US–Japan Neutron Scattering Workshop 2026! Join researchers and young scientists from the US and Japan to explore the latest developments in neutron instrumentation, AI/data-driven analysis, and experimental techniques at JRR-3, HFIR, J-PARC MLF, and SNS. We look forward to exciting discussions and new collaborations!
