It's shocking to hear about the attack on the Pride event in Berlin yesterday. With our own Pride celebrations only a few weeks away, this strikes very close to home for many Ottawa residents. 

This morning, I spoke with the chair of the board of @FierteCapPride and the chief of @OttawaPolice. Working with all of our partners, we will do everything possible to ensure the safety of all participants in Capital Pride events, including the parade on August 30.

Let's make sure this year's celebration is a great success.

Loved "Such Sharp Teeth" by @rachfacelogic. Dark and vicious, yet full of heart, with a cool, super likable main character. And some the best, most harrowing depictions of werewolf transformation in any medium ever--right up there with AmWerLon. Really hope for a sequel someday
