First JAM talks of 2020 starting now! We have a great drinks selection thanks to funding from @SfAMtweets
Thank you also to @MicrobioSoc, and @IMIBirmingham for funding these talks!
Another great set of JAM talks!
First was Paz Aranega Bou (@Paz_ArBou) who gave a talk on the prevalence and dispersal of Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacterales in hospital sinks
We had our first JAM talks session of the 2019/2020 season which was great thanks to our two fantastic speakers @ErikBakkeren & @E_M_Townsend. I want to say a massive thank you to our sponsors @MicrobioSoc @SfAMtweets @IMIBirmingham and the UoB International partnership office.
Followed by another tremendous talk from @ErikBakkeren about Salmonella persisters contributing to the spread of plasmids in the gut - terrifying stuff!
