In 1945, six @USArmy 442nd soldiers drove to the U.S. Military Cemetery in Follonica, Italy, to pay their respects to fallen comrade, Hiroichi Tomita who was killed in action in Italy on July 12, 1944. This fulfilled the wish of Tomita family to see their son's grave marker.
After two years of pandemic hiatus, three Memorial Day Weekend services will be held to honor America and our Japanese American heroes who gave their lives in her defense. (1/2)
