More info: My mom, Suellyn Stotts, was a childrens’ librarian. We have several of these author/illustrator posters that now hang in my daughter’s room as she is named for my mom. My mom passed away this past September so we can’t ask her for the name.

My sister says she thinks she remembers that the picture didn’t really match what she expected of the person but she can’t remember the name either. It looks like Jer Ogzugi to me but that’s not it and I’ve gone through many lists of childrens’ authors/illustrators.

Arizonans: under ARS 16-402, companies must give you paid time off work to vote if your work schedule prevents you from voting. What that means is that you must receive paid time off if you start and end you shift less than three hours from polls opening and polls closing. (1/3)

Also, under ARS 16-402, Arizona Universities must implement policies consistent with that rule. This means that if you do not have three consecutive hours to vote tomorrow due to classes, you are not be penalized for missing class to go vote. (2/3)
