@CJDGiesen @JOBhakdi I could see empathy and benevolence scaling with int. The idea that it just maximizes everything because that’s what a perfect intelligence would do seems like a human idea. The problem is that the gamble is pretty high stakes!

@AlexFinn This has the same vibes as when everyone was going to get rich off of NFT’s. And developers (as one) are not afraid of AI- but realize many players view it as the scarlet letter and avoid it in a production pipeline at the moment. We’re watching though.

@JNavok I don’t disagree, but who’s going to be buying/playing this influx of new games now that it’s hyper accessible. It seems like there’s going to be a lot of rot, and games that nobody asked for. It’s going to be a strange landscape.

Unreal 5.8 MCP with Claude is incredible. Largest power boost I’ve seen for developers in my career. @elonmusk any plans for Grok teaming up with game devs in a similar way?

Take from the rich and give to the poor is not the message. It’s more so that society would be better off if the philosophy of sharing was more systemic and built in rather than voluntary. It’s very easy to see why this way of thinking attracts young people. On first glance it’s seems so obvious that in the name of fairness we should split everything. Why should the youth have antibodies to this way of thinking? They lack the wisdom of seeing it play out is all.
