@miriam_kushel So it’s not just me who has no idea what the point of the story was. I assumed he was impressed that she could do 25 reps of weighted pullups and maybe that was worth mentioning?
@officer_Lew This would be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic. Not only is it unverified, the target of the so-called backlash is someone who truly doesn’t care what people think of him. he’s also basically a recluse. Good luck with this.
@gjm1508@marnievinall good question as I’m not sure what they can do. there was an incident at my workplace and a temporary AVO was granted. But as the allegations were contested and the hearing wouldn’t be for a couple of months both continued to work there. I left before case concluded.
@MMI813@thehealthb0t “ it is easier to fool someone than it is to convince someone they have been fooled”
although it is widely credited to Mark Twain, there’s no evidence of him actually saying it.
either way, years ago, when I first heard it i instantly appreciated just how true it is
@AdamLane1424@KirstiMiller30 well said. it’s surprising how often supporters of these policies seem to ignore the specific concerns of the objectors and rather than addressing these concerns in their response, just resort to personal attacks. i’m sure it’s a coincidence…..
@Archiemek987@luv1bun it’s unbelievable that this needs to be explained. Comparing a corporate environment where everyone has been ID’d, know who each other are and likely need a security pass to access the building to a public facility is beyond stupid
@nickTw7m47amfe@WindsorBeaver and I 100% agree. As I’ve got a little bit more mature and open minded in my thinking I’ve quickly realised “ conspiracy theorist” is usually used for no other reason than to discredit individuals who refused to believe what they are told to believe
@nickTw7m47amfe@WindsorBeaver I just reread my message . Sorry it should’ve said “ describe what she considers to be” not “what she said to me” !!! I was using voice to text and it didn’t quite get it right
