250 years. Countless innovations. One incredible nation. 🇺🇸
This Independence Day, we're especially proud to celebrate America's 250th birthday.
As a reminder, Performance Electronics will be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of the holiday. Please note that shipping and order processing may be delayed as our team takes time to celebrate.
For nearly three decades, we've been proud to design, engineer, test, manufacture, and support our products right here in the USA. Thank you for supporting American innovation, engineering, and manufacturing.
From all of us at Performance Electronics, we wish you a safe, fun, and happy Fourth of July!
🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

📷 Confession time... a 🧵👇
We don't always come home from race weekends with a lot of photos.
Usually we're busy manning the booth, answering questions, helping customers, selling a little merch, and keeping up with everything happening around the track. And let's be honest, we also try to sneak in some time to watch some great racing (and occasionally partake in a few track snacks 📷📷). Every once in a while, we're even lucky enough to end up in a photo instead of standing behind the camera!
Now that the racetrack dust has settled, we're excited to share a few more moments from an incredible weekend at The Big Dance. A huge thank you to Shocktoography for sending over these great shots and helping us relive a fantastic weekend at US 24 Speedway.
Thanks again to everyone who stopped by the booth, chatted with us, and made the event one to remember. We can't wait to do it again next year! See more photos in the thread!

📣Welcome to the Team, Andrew!
If Andrew looks familiar, that's because he spent last summer with us as a co-op, and we're excited to officially welcome him back as a full-time Applications Engineer.
In his new role, Andrew will be managing our Performance Aftermarket product line, helping drive the development of our next generation of ECUs, wideband controllers, and other Performance Aftermarket products. He'll also be lending his expertise to tech support when needed, ensuring our customers continue to receive the service and technical assistance they've come to expect from Performance Electronics.
Behind the scenes, Andrew will be involved in designing testers, completing design validation testing, and helping develop production test equipment to support both new and existing products.
What makes Andrew a great fit for this role, besides his mechanical aptitude, is that his passion for engines, tuning, and motorsports extends well beyond the office. An avid autocrosser with several project cars, he's been using Performance Electronics products for years and comes to the team with firsthand experience and a deep understanding of both our products and our customers. Whether he's developing new products, supporting customers, or representing Performance Electronics at races and industry events, Andrew brings the perspective of both an engineer and an enthusiast.
Please join us in welcoming Andrew to Performance Electronics! 🎉

We hear there’s another big race today in Indiana? But we would be remiss not to recognize the guys that topped the podium at last night’s Freedom 50 at Miami County Raceway. It was a great weekend of racing!
Congratulations to the winners:
P1 - Kenny Gritz
P2 - Frank Flud (running a PE3-IG2)
P3 - Brecken Reese
We were proud to sponsor this inaugural event on this patriotic weekend! Never forget the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice so we can enjoy our freedoms doing the things we love, like motorsports!

With race season in full swing and another great year of supporting collegiate teams for Formula SAE Michigan behind us, we’ve been sharing a lot of content featuring our performance aftermarket products, race teams, and customers lately.
Seems like a good time to remind you that, beyond the motorsports side of things, we also design and manufacture custom embedded systems, controls, and data acquisition solutions for B2B customers across a wide range of industries.
From concept to consumer, we help bring ideas to life with custom electronics, firmware, hardware, and in-house manufacturing capabilities.
Check out some of our capabilities and past projects at https://t.co/9MYwsQuyD7
If you can dream it, we can build it.

Wrapping up another incredible FSAE Michigan weekend. We’re always proud to support teams filled with talented young engineers, designers, and business students who dedicate countless hours to bringing these vehicles and programs to life.
If you ever have the opportunity to hire someone who’s been part of an FSAE team — do it. The year-long, hands-on, real-world experience these students gain is unlike anything they can learn in the classroom. The technical skills, teamwork, leadership, problem solving, and perseverance required to compete at this level are truly exceptional.
A special congratulations to Bearcat Motorsports on a great season and comp. PE was born at this event 29 years ago, and in recent years our connection to the team has become even more meaningful. It’s been incredibly rewarding to watch the passion, talent, and dedication of the students involved, and we look forward to supporting that relationship for many years to come.

We had the opportunity to attend the Alumni Design Review for University of Cincinnati Bearcats Motorsports (BCMS) last weekend, where the IC, Electric, and Baja teams presented their vehicles and design work ahead of competition... and we walked away seriously impressed.
Hosted at UC’s 1819 Innovation Hub (our first visit!), the space itself is worth talking about. The coolest part for us is 1819's Maker Space where students and faculty have free access to an incredible range of tools: 3D printers, CNC machines, waterjet cutters, soldering stations, woodworking equipment, graphics and printing resources, and even textile and sewing machines. It’s an environment built for turning ideas into reality, and it shows in the quality of work coming out of these teams.
With competition just around the corner, this alumni review is a key step in helping teams refine and polish their presentations. And if what we saw is any indication, they’re more than ready.
We’re continually impressed by the level of talent, professionalism, and real-world experience these students bring to the table. SAE programs like these don’t just build cars—they build some of the most capable, hands-on engineers, designers and business leaders entering the workforce.
And boy do those shirts look good! It was great seeing our logo represented by BCMS. We're proud to support such a driven group.
Best of luck to all the teams as you head into competition. PE will be cheering you on! We’ll be at the IC competition May 13–16 and can’t wait to see ALL of our sponsored teams in action. 🏁🏎️

@taylorswift13 taking a long shot here. My soon to be DIL is a HUGE fan. She and my son are our very own “your English teacher marrying your gym teacher.” And she too is marrying her Cincinnati Bearcat in Cincy this summer. I’m hoping you can help me cement my MIL legacy! 👇
They got engaged just a few weeks before you and she was almost as excited about your announcement! Of course we’d love to have you at the wedding (6/18) but understand your big day is soon afterward (according to reports). But a video message would be the coolest surprise! 👇
🐣 Happy Easter from Performance Electronics!
(Or should we say… Merry Christmas? 🎄)
While the lights might feel festive, this development fixture serves a critical purpose. Writing embedded code for complex mechanical systems, especially ones with high noise and vibration, isn’t ideal at a desk. So we engineered a better solution.
Our development fixtures replicate real-world system behavior, like solenoid actuation, and simulate CAN bus communication and pressure sensor inputs, allowing our engineers to test and validate code without stepping into the lab or shop.
Because better tools lead to better engineering.
We were proud to sponsor the Formula SAE Spring Workshop earlier this year, hosted by the SAE Detroit Section. Thank you to Stephanie at SAE Detroit Section for sharing the photos from the event!
This workshop brought together teams from across the region to collaborate, troubleshoot, and push their vehicle development forward—exactly what Formula SAE is all about. From sharing ideas to working through real-world challenges, it is great to see so many talented student engineers in action.
Supporting these teams is especially meaningful to us. Performance Electronics was born out of Formula SAE. Our founders competed at Formula SAE Michigan in 1997, where their team placed 4th overall. Can you pick them out in this photo that anchors our FSAE wall of fame at PE headquarters?
We’re looking forward to seeing the culmination of a year’s worth of work from 120 talented student teams at Formula SAE Michigan at Michigan International Speedway, May 13–16.
As teams head into the homestretch, we’re here to help. If you’re running PE products, don’t hesitate to reach out to PE Support for any final tuning, troubleshooting, or technical support. 🏁
P.S. We’d love to add to our wall of fame—if you’re TEAM PE, send us your photos at the end of this season! 📷
