In recognition of Drinking Water Week, May 3–9, Tuscaloosa Water is inviting residents to celebrate one of the community’s most important natural resources through the Lake Tuscaloosa Photo Contest.
The contest highlights Lake Tuscaloosa as the primary source of drinking water for the City and recognizes the critical role Tuscaloosa Water plays in delivering clean, safe and reliable water to the community. Tuscaloosa Water is proud to provide 8.06 billion gallons of clean, safe drinking water with zero detected “forever chemicals” (PFAS), each year to more than 62,000 residential and commercial entities across the Tuscaloosa community.
Participants can enter by posting an original photo of Lake Tuscaloosa on Facebook or Instagram using #TuscaloosaWater. The winning photo, selected for quality and creativity, will earn two ticket vouchers to a concert at the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater.
