Today on #DIPG/#DMG awareness day I’m wishing as much comfort as possible to all those families that have lost a child. To families with an affected child, we are working as hard, as fast, and as safely as possible at @seattlechildren to find a cure. #EndDIPG#EndDMG
Adult cancers are valued more than Children cancers which is odd, bc if Children were given the same funding as Adults, they would have a better chance of survival to live long enough to become Adults. Adults are given 96% & Children are ONLY given 4% of #cancer research.

January 28, 1962: Neil Armstrong’s 2 year old Daughter died from #DIPG Brain Cancer. March 8, 2022: 99% of Children diagnosed w/ DIPG will not Live more than 11 months from diagnosis.

One RT for knowing what glioblastoma is would give me a indication of how many people have heard of it. My beautiful and only daughter died nearly 6 years ago from it.
