This testnet is divided into three phases:

Phase 1: Community Assemble, which is currently live.

Phase 2: Light node quest available at the moment.

Phase 3: Testnet adventure.

Let's complete the available quests, which are pretty simple!

If you already have a VPS, you can use it without buying a new one.

If you don't and lack coding knowledge, you can use a rapid node to run a Nubit node, quickly obtain the pub key, and verify the task.

Next, select the months you'd like to run the node (1 month is usually enough). It's similar to paying for a VPS, but they handle the maintenance for you, making it more affordable and accessible.

It costs around $5 for one month, but you can use the code "MYRON" to get 5% off.

Once your node status is "Deployed" in the active node tab, click the "🔑" icon on the right side of your subscription row to retrieve the pub key and your private information.

Wait 15 minutes before verifying the task in the dashboard.

Note: This method might take some time to get your pub key.

If you purchased from @rapidnodexyz (Which is more straightforward), you can skip the method below. You're all set!

Now, for those who have VPS, follow this.

In your VPS, paste the following command:

Installing Node on your VPS will take a few minutes. Once completed, you'll see your Nubit light node pub key.

Save all your information securely for future access.

Copy your pubkey and paste it on the website. Wait about 15 minutes after starting the light node before attempting verification.

This cap will be time-based, with the testnet accepting stakes for 5 days (120 hours), starting from Signet BTC block height 200,665 at approximately 9 AM UTC on Wednesday, 19 June, and lasting for 720 blocks, ending at Signet BTC block height 201,385 around 9 AM UTC on Monday, 24 June.

Based on community feedback, we have added a fee adjustment feature to the staking web dApp. This feature allows the staker to customize the transaction fee to increase the chance of their staking transaction getting included in the Signet block.
