🚨 BREAKING
🇨🇩 #DRC: TWIRWANEHO President Dr. François Kaniki calls on Banyamulenge around the world to return home, saying the security situation in the South Kivu highlands has changed following the capture of Point Zero and other areas.
Leadership is often measured by what a person does when it is easiest to step back. Hon. Enos Kinywamacunda, Member of Parliament for Kabula County, has given Ugandans a recent example of service above self by continuing to serve the people of Kabula and the 12th @Parliament_Ug even while unwell.
At the induction of Members of the 12th Parliament, Hon. @Kinywamachunda presented a paper on “Principles underpinning parliamentary procedures and practices in the @CPA_Secretariat effective use of the rules to improve governance.” His central emphasis on the Rule of Law reminded the House that strong institutions depend on members who respect rules, procedure, and accountability. That contribution was not only academic, it set a tone for how the 12th Parliament can deliver better governance for Ugandans.
Beyond that single intervention, his record in the House and in Kabula reflects consistency. He has used parliamentary processes to raise issues affecting ordinary citizens, to scrutinize policy, and to push for oversight of government programs. Such work requires presence, preparation, and stamina. To maintain that level of engagement while managing ill health demonstrates commitment that constituents and colleagues should recognize.
The people of Kabula benefit when their representative is active in debate, in committees, and in constituency work. A sickbed is often a reasonable excuse for absence in any profession. Hon. @Kinywamachunda ’s choice to remain engaged therefore deserves public appreciation, not because we expect leaders to ignore their health, but because it shows the seriousness with which he takes the mandate given to him.
As citizens, we can express gratitude in two ways. First, by thanking him directly for his dedication to @Parliament_Ug and to Kabula. Second, by praying for him a complete recovery so he can continue to serve at full strength. A healthy Hon. Kinywamacunda means stronger representation for Kabula and stronger application of the Rule of Law principles he champions in Parliament.
On behalf of the people he serves, thank you Hon. Enos Kinywamacunda for your service, your sacrifice, and your example. We wish you a quick and complete recovery.
Sir Simon Muyanga Lutaaya: This nature of fighting corruption is not Musevenistic. This kind of fight is from someone who doesn't care where the votes come from.
