BREAKING: Louisville has landed one of the best big man available in Obinna Ekezie Jr., and he intends to reclassify and play for the Cardinals this season. The 7-1 Ekezie was the No. 2 ranked player in the country in the Class of 2027, per On3. He’s a skilled big man who can step out and can play alongside Kansas transfer Flory Bidunga at times. Pat Kelsey has now assembled a team that should be ranked among the top teams in the country heading into the season. He added Bidunga and Okezie with Iowa transfer Alvaro Folgueiras (Iowa) and Karter Knox (Arkansas). Adrian Wooley will return and the Cardinals also add guards Jackson Shelstad (Oregon) and De’Shayne Montgomery (Dayton).
