Congratulations to Deputy Superintendent Dr. Orletta Rush! She received the Truman M. Pierce Leadership Award from the Alabama Association of Elementary School Administrators. @orush2.
I need to brag on our Ts. They have been flexible, displaced, resourceful, patient, & resilient. And still manage to teach, empower, & inspire our Ss. Ss said our Ts give us stars for our good work. We should give them stars, too! Ss notes = big smiles. #makingadifference
As a principal, I’m supposed to be an “instructional leader.” But I told our teachers this week, that I don’t know how to do that in the middle of a pandemic.
Right now is not the best time to talk about programs, plans, data points, and “best practices.” It is time to support.
We are enjoyiing our blended and extended @FultondaleS family! During this time we are flexible and will do whatever it takes to serve the students of @JEFCOED. We believe without any reservation we are #jefcoedstrongertogether! @srobinson227@JCCLCPrincipal @MrsPSDavis
Our 20-21 message is consistent on all levels. We are stronger together! We are all in this together! In the end we will say we made it through because we understand the power of “WE”. #JefcoedStrongerTogether#WeareFamily#Bettertogether@JCCLC2
JCCLC would like to thank Tanita Cain and Lawyers for Literacy for helping us support Read Across America this week by volunteering their time to read with our students.
Thank you Pam Davis and Katelyn Sellers for coordinating with local colleges to speak to the JCCLC students on our first ever College Day. Thank you to our local colleges who believe all students need to see they do have choices and were willing to come to our campus.
One of our presenters at the first ever JCCLC College Day discussing with students the opportunities available at local junior colleges and answering questions about enrolling.
