I’m not sure what the second coasters time is, but Natalia has the second fastest time.

6th place for Natalia in the 200m. She PR’d with a time of 25.35, which also means she now has the second coasters time in school history by .07 seconds.

We are now under a 30-minute delay for thunder. The meet will resume at approximately 5:34. The girls 4x200 teams were just getting on the track when the thunder rolled.

NEW SCHOOL RECORD!!!!! Natalia Botello-Ramos just ran a 12.15 in the 100m to finish third. That breaks a 22-year old record. #LowKeyZoomin

We’re back for day 2 of State. The girls are warming up and I’m sitting on a wet bleacher because I neglected to “borrow” a towel from the hotel to dry it off.

Natalia just won her heat of the 200 in 25.58, which means she’s in the finals. She also moves into 4th on our all-time list.

Ali Luebben ran a fantastic anchor leg as the 4x200 finished 2nd in their heat and advanced to the finals. Our time of 1:43.98 is a NEW SCHOOL RECORD, and it makes us the 3 seed.

Natalia finished second in her preliminary heat of the 100m and advanced the tomorrow’s finals. She’s seeded third.

The State meet starts in less than an hour, and no matter what else happens, it’s already a good day because Natalia’s mom brought me fried plantains.

We’ll compete in the State meet at St. Michael-Albertville on Thursday and Friday. Here’s the schedule:

We wrapped the day with the girls’ 4x400. Allison/Arianna Hanson/Zoey/Stevie finished 6th. Arianna did not enjoy waiting all day to run.

Oh yeah, Natalia also ran and won the 200. She PR’d with a time of 25.76.

Naiya Ayers had an eventful 3200. She tripped and went down hard on the first lap, but she scrambled to her feet, and fought her way to 3rd place.

David Botello Ramos made a run (sorry about that) at the top 2 in the 3200, but just couldn’t make up enough ground. He finished third.
