@MichaelVelaetis@HopkinsMedicine At UPMC, not only do we have several cafes & a Starbucks in house, but also free coffee every Wednesday. Just sayn'... Miss you guys, but can't beat the coffee!!
Yep! We know this counts in #ICUrehab too! Moving in the ICU is good for the mind and the body and bonus points to HCW and patients who incorporate pleasurable activity. Add music, "sit-to-hug", balloon volleyball, play a keyboard, walk a therapy dog! Start small, don't overdo.
Everyone is involved when YOU get COVID. Acknowledging baseline rates, this study showed
📍40% #Family of COVID survivors had mental health disorders 1 yr later
📍9X ⬆️ Anxiety
📍6X ⬆️ Depression
📍1 in 4 had work-related problems.
#Vaxx for them!

Making me blush! 😊. All I can say is thank you, and that I hope to make you all proud! I'll miss my Hopkins family and will never forget the connections I made.
@DrMeganHoseyPhD @KalenPascalDPT @RehabHopkins Thanks, Megan!! It's been a whirlwind. I am excited, but it is bittersweet telling all the fantastic people I've met along the way❤
