@HamsterslayerP Not seeing the movie until Monday, but I have a feel it isn’t because he’s bad but more so because he’s surrounded by some many better actors than him. I don’t hate Tom Holland but he isn’t in the level of a lot of the other actors in this movie.

@GHR2073937 @Sturgeons_Law @travjustinwhite I honestly kinda like Troy and Pitt as Achilles. May just be nostalgia, since I watched that before I read the Iliad, but I can still watch and enjoy Troy. And even if it’s not the best adaptation in the world I bet the Odyssey will be enjoyable too.

The medium of story telling from a movie and a spoken word story aren’t the same, even if dialogue is conveyed through speech. What’s important is if the core of the story is the same, not specific scenes.
