Earlier today, a contingent of troopers joined law enforcement officers from across the country to bid farewell to @JCPoliceDept Detective Joseph Seals. Detective Seals was killed in the line of duty.

Jersey City PD Chief Kelly just identified the officer killed in the line of duty today as Det Joseph Seals. He was an officer since 2006 & removed dozens of guns from the streets. He was married w 5 children. God Bless Det. Seals and his family at this difficult time!
