Praise God that gospel music has become very popular in Japan and many Christians are evangelising through it. Please #pray for this work to bear fruit and for choir members and audiences alike to understand and accept the gospel truths in the words of the songs.
Please #pray for the city of Kobe, home to a number of our mission and network partners and also to our sister organisation JEB and some of its churches. Praise God for our strong presence in this area and ask that he may use it for his glory.
#Pray for Tim and Ai Williams doing the groundwork to launch a church plant in Futakotamagawa, Tokyo. They hope to build up a community of believers who will share the gospel with those in the nearby residential area, offices and universities.
#Pray for network partner James Brown, his wife Yurika and their son Luke living in Kobe, Japan. James leads the ministry at Nishiharima Church, Ibogawa, and also preaches at Kobe Bible Fellowship and outreach meetings in Takasago.
#Pray for JCL mission partners Richard and Yuko Brash in Nagoya, Japan. Richard is teaching theology at Christ Bible Seminary while Yuko focusses on evangelism and developing materials for other Japanese to help them share the gospel.
Please pray for Shikoku, the smallest of Japan’s four islands and home to many churches of our sister organisation JEB. Please pray that the strong JEB presence will bear fruit in this very traditional region of the country.
