Our #schoollunchheros in @JCPS_NC are often some of the first people to step on campus each day. They flip on the lights, flip on the ovens and begin to prep to feed the students.
These hero's, so far this year, have served 777,789 breakfasts and 2,471,984 lunches!

#EarthDay is an event that is celebrated around the globe on April 22 each year. Since @JCPS_NC was out on Spring Break during Earth Day, we will be celebrating tomorrow, May 2, by offering a "Meatless Menu"! Thank you to @KelloggsUS and @MorningStrFarms for partnering with us!

Any child 18 years or younger can eat breakfast and lunch today for free at the below mentioned school sites! The student does not have to be enrolled in the selected school to receive a meal. Parents can eat for $3.50!

Free meals for students on May 1. The following schools will serve breakfast & lunch: Cooper Academy, Micro ES, West Smithfield ES, Corinth Holders ES, Four Oaks ES, Princeton ES, & Selma ES. Breakfast will be served from 8-8:30am. Lunch will be served from 11:30am-12:30pm.

Today @JCPS_cafes is being joined by @TysonFoods at @Selma_Middle to test #fuegolime chicken chips for #schoollunch! Selma Middle is one of only 3 schools in the country trying this product before its release!
