📚 LITERACY | JCPS just wrapped up "Literacy &," where we connect standards-based literacy instruction to character-building opportunities like Tennis. Dr. Yearwood even stopped by to see students succeeding.
Across all three sites, students showed an average growth of 20% based on pre- and post-reading assessment results. #WeAreJCPS

🚨 ACTION REQUIRED | TODAY IS THE FINAL DAY! 🚨

We need to know how your child will get to and from school for the 2026-27 school year.

Today, June 8, 2026, is the final day to request bus transportation for the first day of school. Every JCPS family must complete the Transportation Verification (TV) form to let us know your plans.

Eligible bus riders who fill out the form by the end of the day today will be notified of their bus stop location in July via the JCPS Bus Teller. Don't delay—get your request in now!

☀️ SUMMER MEALS | Hunger doesn't stop over the summer, and neither does JCPS. We provide meals to children 18 and under at no cost.

Today, @JCPSSuper joined JCPS School and Community Nutrition Services to help keep our community fed. Last summer alone, we provided about 320,000 meals to children!

The program is completely funded through the USDA and does not use district funds.
