On the bus to Hull reading
about City’s promotion to the Premier League in my favourite paper, what a brilliant issue this is!
@HoldernessNews@HullCity
The industry I’ve worked in for more than 25 years is facing threats like no other. The likes of Reach have done their level best to kill off print and use clickbait to erode people’s trust in the media to the point where they refuse to talk to us as they think we are all the same.
Then there’s the advent of social media bots, AI fakery and all the rest.
Print isn’t dead. It’s part of the answer to all this noise, along with a responsible digital model. And we will continue to stand up and fight our corner.
@sireusaofficial Are you planning on releasing a short scale active version of the U5? Maybe with more colour/wood options?
If so, you can have my money now! If you are thinking of releasing a 5-string version you can have my money twice!
Thanks
@DaveHarrisonIOM Good luck for the future mate. Hope everything works out. Stay healthy. It was a pleasure working with you. One of the good ones! Keep in touch.
What would you like to share? Solutions, positivity, constructive comment - that’s been our mission since November 2018. We didn’t see the present challenge coming, but we’re glad to be able to offer #Hull businesses, organisations, and individuals a voice right now.
Our thoughts are with the family of Stanley Metcalf, 6, who died in Sproatley, E Yorks, yesterday following what we believe was a tragic accident involving a pellet gun. Our investigation continues & we ask the family's request for privacy is respected.
