"I was wrong."
"I screwed up."
"I'm sorry."
If more of us could swallow our pride and reflect long enough to say these three things instead of digging our heels in, we'd all be in a much better place.
Sorry to hear about the death of JCPS family member Ty Scroggins. A great coach - 5 state football titles @LouisvilleCHS - and a better champion for kids. Our thoughts are with his family.
We would like to recognize our counseling team: Shannon Sellinger, Pat Downey, and Ebonee Brown. Thank you for supporting the students at JCTMS. Please send a positive shout-out to our counselors and share with your students that this week is National School Counseling Week.
We'd like to congratulate our teachers and staff of the week: Ms. Allen (French), Ms. Pierce, Mr. Bryant, Mr. Gipson, and Ms. Stuart. Thank you all so much for all that you do! We are so thankful for you all.
📣SCHOOL CHOICE SPOTLIGHT | Don't forget, our school choice period runs until December 16! During the next month, we'll highlight different school choice details, including the myths and facts. Check it out! ⬇️

When my school district announces a reopening plan:
1. I will trust & support it.
2. I won’t make it all about me.
3. I will work hard to provide the best education possible.
This is what essential staff in other industries have been doing for me since March. It’s my turn.
