Time I address this idea I hear a lot from many ppl that have never or will never attend a Lakers home game.

1. A lot of “die hard” fans can’t afford to go to a game
2. The Lakers faithful that are present are fair weather and rightfully so. If you’re expecting fans to perpetually sound like there was a game winner, but the reality is it’s another deflating let down performance…then that’s what to expect from the crowd. There’s been a lot of poor play in the social media era. Ppl that have never been to a lakers game think they would somehow be on their feet cheering even in the midst of a 15-0 run by the away team…no. It’s depressing.
3. Refer to the 2023 playoff run and tell me what the home crowd was like in those games…lakers fans expect to be entertained and to win every game and anything other than that is unacceptable. I understand if you can’t understand this. The product very much determines the fan response. Not the other way around. Not here. Not after all we’ve experienced.
