@Y1O2N3A4S5@ralejandreKY@Pin3007@PFTCommenter Not with offside. The VAR can determine offside and just tell the ref to either allow or disallow the goal.
They could have done that here as well, but I assume because there was an extra element in play, they wanted the ref to see why it was offside so he could relay the info.
Soccer can’t catch on in this country because the general populace has the attention span of a goldfish. They have to watch the nfl which stops every 12 seconds, mlb which stops ever 20 seconds or the nba where the scoring is so constant it borders upon meaningless. Just say that you’re too lazy or too stupid to try rather than blaming the sport for your own shortfalls
@HowTheProsDo@RandomJ80710594 No you don't understand it. You might know how the rule works, but you have no clue about how it impacts the game if you remove it. Because you don't understand. And that's okay.
@markallanbovair Okay I assume you have the still of the impact somewhere. In that picture, where is the ball?
Spoiler: it's in the fucking air, not even close to where the impact was. Clear red card.
@TBL_noles99 Okay you're the last person I'm gonna explain. It' either nothing or a red card. The fact that you say it's yellow, means you think he committed a foul and therefore should be shown a card. With this outcome (potentially breaking your opponents ankle), can only be a red card.
@BillyTinkle Hahaha you contradict yourself in one sentence. I absolutely don't believe you have watched much soccer if this is the worst red card call you have ever seen.
If it is, you have not watched much football at all.
@Andrew_Russell7@DerGermanTiger Stop pretending you know what you are talking about. It's either red or nothing. If you think it's a yellow card, you agree with the ref.
@KylenMills Of course he should have been sent off but that has exactly 0 to do with today's decision. You're wasting your so called 'credentials' very rapidly this way.
@KylenMills@USMNT@FIFAcom Bla bla bla. This can never be a yellow card. It's either nothing or red. The fact that you say it should be yellow means you don't know the rules AND agree with the refs decision.
@KylenMills@PoolieSilkman@beegjuan1@USMNT@FIFAcom Bla bla bla. This can never be a yellow card. It's either nothing or red. The fact that you say it should be yellow means you don't know the rules AND agree with the refs decision.
@terencebabila@jonmorosi Exactly, something anybody who watches this sport for longer than 3 weeks knows, understands and realizes. I have seen 100's or more of games and have seen red cards for way less than this. Unfortunate does not necessarily count in football.
@dhunterb55@McIlroyRory Just scrolling around your page after a stupid take on 'soccer' and immediately realizing that you don't know much about sports in general.
