This also means that relegation is probably not going to happen.

@TeeTimesPub Losing 2 of their 4 best players probably means this is the end of LIV. And even if there is a 2027 season of some form, it probably at least means the end of Legion XIII, reverting to 12 teams, and no one getting relegated.

@TinCup2020 @Robopz Niemann is a big "what if." He potentially wasted his prime. And that is an underdiscussed part of LIV's imminent demise - once the dust settles and everyone involved admits that the league was a disaster, will anyone still give any credit to what those players accomplished?

@flushingitgolf Nonsense answer. LIV will only be in 5 international markets moving forward. Brits, Australians, South Africans, etc. will all still have the opportunity to play their home opens if they so choose. Bryson and Rahm will be gone, and with it, any real interest in the league.

@MikeHerndonSk1 This isn’t true for “any” SEC school. If Vandy had played a team like GT, Houston, Iowa, or UVA instead of Charleston Southern, they’d be in. There are teams that will always get a brand boost (eg Texas). THOSE are ones who can afford to play it safer and accept a weaker résumé.
