I've reopened Book 1 "The Grey Woods" expecting that 10 years later, it would need a rewrite. Chapter 1 didn't change, at all.

Madros clenches his strong jaw. “Tell me about the trial.”

“How did you—?” Fin’s anxiety churns up. “I am innocent.”

“I know you are. And I am not.”
