He's a 'cunt' and a 'threat' because he doesn't want foreign money eroding our democracy?
Shout at clouds by all means, but that's just a very strange thing to get abusive over.
Sadly, many of the replies to Scarlet's post are nothing short of small-minded, cruel and abusive.
However, not a single one says anything about her, but says everything about why decency and tolerance still matter - even if they're becoming more scarce on social media.
We are not at loggerheads
Ed is reiterating the position that this party has voted in favour of many times.
I saw more people who were disappointed with our policy on fuel duty.
If our conference votes have proven anything, it's that this "civil war" is the battle of naseby at best.
The economic policy of the Green Party is incoherent and self-contradictory:
On the one hand, they want to stop "being in hock" to the bond markets.
On the other hand, they want to borrow £80bn a year more from the bond markets.
You can't have your cake and eat it too.
Official: @SouthwarkGP and Southwark Liberal Democrats have formed a Joint Administration to run Southwark Council.
Together they will make Southwark more affordable, greener and safer, and fix housing for tenants and leaseholders.
Nearly a year since the Strategic Defence Review, the Defence Investment Plan is still missing.
With an aggressive Kremlin and unstable White House, Ministers must publish the DIP now. We are calling for the use of Defence Bonds to raise £20bn to end this stagnation.
Excited to announce the Liberal Democrats who will be joining the leadership team of the new Joint Administration in Southwark:
We will make our borough more affordable, greener and safer for our residents, and will create a Council that listens and that communities can shape.
You are a Member of Parliament representing 109,000 people in your constituency.
Many people would expect their MP to meet basic expectations of professionalism and civility.
But in your case I suspect fewer have confidence in your ability to meet them...
That the Lib Dems prioritise their Coalition buddies over the housing needs and safety of local people will surprise no one. They did this before. Same old Lib Dems.
“I believe politics works best when it is rooted in cooperation, community and practical solutions rather than tribalism"
Welcome to the Liberal Democrats, Cllr Zoë Peat! It's great to have you on the team 🔶
I would like to affirm our rejection and condemnation of this anti-YL staff slander.
We are eternally grateful to @TomJHugh for his hard work, support, and wisdom.
Though smaller than last year, the Unite the Kingdom march over the weekend was still sickening. The resurgence of out-and-out racism in the UK, from demands for remigration of British Asians to Antisemitic slurs on placards at both demonstrations, demands we meet this moment.
I’ve written to the Prime Minister urging him to give Labour MPs a free vote on our amendment to the King’s Speech.
A UK-EU Customs Union is a vital first step in rebuilding our relationship with Europe. MPs must be free to vote for what is best for our economy and our country.
You won't hear it from the media, but the Liberal Democrats just had an incredible set of results.
We held off Reform, won more councillors than the Greens and trounced the Conservatives
Right cross the country people are backing us to deliver the real change they deserve. 🔶
The Tories should "get out of the way" and have "failed as a party", says Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey in Portsmouth, where the party have won control of the city council, with Reform in second place.

If Reform UK are willing to threaten to 'punish' voters if they don't vote for them, then that should be a red flag to everybody.
There is a reason it is illegal to engage in undue influence during elections.
If you vote Reform you will not have an illegal migrant deportation facility in your area.
We will hold migrants awaiting deportation in constituencies that vote Green instead.
You get what you vote for.

One crazy trick can rescue Keir Starmer
It won’t be for everyone, but Tony Blair would make a fine foreign secretary

It's not just about Hinkley Point C and 'fish discos', either.
Towns like Bridgwater have a rich industrial heritage, where well-paid jobs have supported our communities.
Issues such as this only push investment away from towns like my own and affect residents' opportunities.
This is unacceptable.
Hinkley Point C is a vital part of Somerset's local economy, as well as national energy infrastructure.
It has faced successive delays which have placed pressure on services in my town of Bridgwater and the surrounding area.
Quangos need to be reined in.
