The lack of compassion for how I felt
inside a little, I die
The lack of respect for the choices I make
the hands washed clean of my heart
Your picking ways that continue to chip

My knights in shining armour did not come to my rescue on tall shimmering horses but rode in on tricycles with shoe laces tangled and trousers torn. They came fearless with force. Giggling all the way to my victory with sweets in hand instead of swords.
