UPDATE: The deal between Syracuse and Siena coach Gerry McNamara has been finalized, per ESPN sources. He’s set to be announced as Syracuse’s next coach later today.
Long take on Dante Moore:
Was super scared the #Jets were going to rush the QB decision and take Dante Moore 2nd overall, with AG being on the hotseat and feeling that he doesnt have time to find their guy.
He would have been a mistake; I personally wouldn’t have wanted him 2nd overall and been thrown into a shit show. Instead we will get the best non QB player in the draft.
SUCKS and so unfortunate we have to wait one more year for our QB, but there will be a bunch to pick from. If Moore has a bad season then we’ll look back and go “phew,” and if not then he’s right back in the conversation to be picked by us, along with Arch, Mestemaker, Sayin, and anyone who might rise to the top…

@barstoolsports This couldn’t be farther than the truth. I see more Jets fans not wanting him at all than the latter.
I’m glad he’s staying at Oregon as a Jets fan. Allows the Jets to take the best player available which should be Arvell Reese, Caleb Downs or even trade back for more value.
The Brewers are a perfect case study for those who think baseball has a competitive balance problem.
"I'm not saying the economic system in the sport is perfect, what I'm saying is to suggest that the salary cap is the only answer is just simply absurd," says @Ken_Rosenthal.
The #Jets have to let Fields go out there and ball. For better or for worse. The goal should be to unleash the kid. Throw everything offensively at the kitchen sink.
Run RPOs but take shots deep.
Let Tanner and co learn what they can or can't get away with.
There is no better way for this offense and potentially a new QB in the future moving forward.
Don't be conservative, at all.
