I will let this be my last post.
Most of us know this platform has significantly derailed year after year. I just was unaware of how bad, bad was. https://t.co/BjAV5XutNS
We have a fantastic post for a clinical fellow to work with us on our neonatal brain MRI programme (including working on the UK's only 7T neonatal scanning, simultaneous EEG-fMRI, etc). Please do take a look and circulate to your networks https://t.co/z63biDAv8w
Come work with us! We are recruiting a neuroimaging and data analysis postdoc for our new Gen2020 project. We will explore the effects of early exposure to COVID-19 on brain development using neonatal and paediatric MRI (including at 7T!), dMRI, fMRI, ...

It is easy to get lost in.... where am I, what am I doing... of postdoc life. Here is an interesting article I found with some helpful tips. https://t.co/9I4kyrwPho
!!! New lab preprint !!! – led by @4J4nderson – quite excited about this one…
Context and Attention Shape Electrophysiological Correlates of Speech-to-Language Transformation
A brief thread below:
Super excited to share this! Our (@shaihanmalik@JuchaMoore) first (I think the first ever?) ultra-high field task #fMRI from a newborn baby - stunning to see precise spatial localisation of BOLD responses in the developing cortex to right hand movement (at 0.8mm isotropic res)
So proud to say it's finally done! Over the last 2.5 years I've been putting together a book on #connectome analysis with @aiwernc@schirmermd which we truly hope will be an accessible and useful resource for people starting out in the field
Strongly recommend this book. I have taught from it and have consulted it. Practical, concrete, and contemporary advice, that can be immediately applied in class and lab.
I have joined all NeuroImage editors in resigning over Elsevier's excessively high APC charge. Sad that it had to come to this. Imaging Neuroscience is now the go-to journal for Neuroimaging research!
#JNeurosci: Chang, Xu et al @ECNUER found task-irrelevant visual cues enhanced A1 neurons’ response to 1 of 2 target sounds, facilitating sound discrimination & behavioral choice, indicating sensory cortices can engage in meaningful multisensory processing

Lovely first publication by @S_FennMoltu@dafnisbatalle showing regional alterations in functional centrality following preterm birth: Development of neonatal brain functional centrality and alterations associated with preterm birth https://t.co/p7q7pWFMdi
Check out our latest preprint investigating neonatal brain dynamics and its association with neurodevelopment. Led by our wonderful postdoc @lucasphysics using the great @DevelopingHCP data.
