There have always been challenging times. The generations of your predecessors have survived serious challenges, as will you. The answer to these challenges is the same as it has always been. We have a Savior. He taught, “Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
When love of Christ envelops our lives, we approach disagreements with meekness, patience, and kindness. We assume that those with whom we disagree are doing the best they can with the life experiences they have.
When the love of God sets the tone for our own lives, for our relationships with each other, and ultimately for our feelings for all humankind, then old distinctions, limiting labels, and artificial divisions begin to pass away, and peace increases.
Fighting through darkness & despair & pleading for light is what opened this dispensation. It is what keeps it going & it is what will keep you going.

I am a child of God!
I may not have the best clothes today, but one day I will wear a robe made by a king.
I may not have a new car, but one day a golden chariot will carry me home!
I may not live in a big house, but there's a mansion waiting for me!
God said it! I believe it!
“Prophets do not urge us to follow or imitate them, but to follow and imitate the Savior,” Keith Erekson said in a recent devotional to Ensign College students. https://t.co/UN8WffpxlZ
