This driver going about his business on the M66 when a heavy object is dropped from an overhead bridge. This resulted in the driver having glass in his eye and an injury to his chest. .................Parents where are your children?

The #M61 southbound is closed between the slip roads at #J9 #Brindle. Traffic is currently being held whilst our #TrafficOfficers manage the closure. Once released, traffic can exit the motorway at #J9 and re-join at #J9 entry slip, avoiding the incident @LancsRoadPolice
