Mandate that 20% of AI revenue (across the board) be directed toward cyber security and alignment. Tune the number based on market-based alignment measures... 100% pauses AI development, 0% lets the market operate as is today.
I used the AVP outside in 36 degree weather today. A fun fact, the device noticeably put out a fair amount of heat, to the point that it was very comfortably warming my forehead.
Being willing to ask dumb questions is a superpower. Often by far the fastest way to get oriented in a new domain, and though perhaps counterintuitive, experts tend to love it when people genuinely want to learn about their passion area.
Good point, it's probably pretty easy to burry encrypted data in some sort of binary file upload.
Still you could (try to) enforce non-encryption (beyond SSL) at apps store review. In fact apple already does it for device stored locally on the device. see "Complying with Encryption Export Regulations"
It's a lot like memory swap but for pixels. If we can make those non-rendered pixels visible in a near-term cache (with very slight effort) then we get a much higher effective resolution.
People who say that the Apple Vision Pro is only 4k resolution are missing the point. I would guess it is closer to an effective 8k of resolution. Let me explain:
With Apple Vision Pro these very rapid and natural head rotations we make new "virtual" pixels available. Effectively giving it an effective resolution = 4k x (1 + degrees of easy head rotation / FOV)
