@iamRashmika as Jayamma is as adorable and authentic as it gets.
@Rahul_Sankrityn is so good with such stories which need research and detailing and it shows that he has put his heart in to this one.

#Jailer2 A Familiar Commercial Entertainer With a Solid 1st Half but an Underwhelming 2nd Half!

First half works mainly because of Nelson’s trademark comedy, a few solid Superstar elevation scenes, and Anirudh’s BGM. But the writing gets weaker as it goes on, with the SJ Suryah and Vidya Balan villain tracks feeling tiring and impactless, while the film moves away from the entertainment that works best.

Rajinikanth’s screen presence still delivers, but even the elevation scenes don’t hit consistently. The cameos also feel more like plot devices than genuine high points and fail to create the same impact as the first film. Entertaining in stretches, but ultimately an average sequel.

A good and entertaining first half driven by Nelson’s trademark comedy, stylish frames, and filmmaking. The humor works really well, though the film takes its time getting into the main plot, with limited story progression.

Rajinikanth is pure swag! Once a Superstar, always a Superstar. His screen presence is simply unmatched!

Anirudh’s music is an absolute banger! Telugu lyrics could’ve been better.

And once again, the Jailer-style interval block delivers big time! Anirudh’s BGM takes the elevation to another level.

Overall, a good and entertaining first half!
