@KappBV I watched Leavitt in HS as a Junior at Westview. He wasn't heavily recruited as a Soph and into his Jr year. Believe it was jist Arizona that offered his Jr year. That's when Chiles was targeted by Smith. Sam didn't jump to a 4 star until his Sr year at West Linn.

@Ledentist @King_With_Me_ @gunsnrosesgirl3 No, it's definitely possible with a 500mm+ lens. I'm a photographer and can zoom in to the moon with my Nikon 200-500 and get crisp parts of the moon, where Apollo landed, etc. He most likely cropped in too.

@Ledentist @gunsnrosesgirl3 Don't need a tripod if it's light out. Just up your shutter speed 1/2000 or more, will be fine handholding at 500-600mm.

@novamachine78 @gunsnrosesgirl3 Photographer here, it's a bright day so you can up your shutter speed to 1/2000 or more and not need a tripod. Appears a 150-600mm lens, once you get above 2x your length in shutter speed would be fine to handhold if enough light. I can take similar with my Nikon 200-500mm lens.
