Heaven got a good one today! Longtime friend and @BishopChatardHS legend, Barb Gaffney, passed away earlier today. She worked at BCHS for 37 years - still working there on her 80th birthday, when this picture was taken. What a gift she was to so many.

@michael_schlact I love sports and competition more than anybody, but as a father and former high school coach, I’m worried about our priorities in forming our young people to be the person God made them to be. Love them first, then teach them (and don’t worry about evaluating and ranking them!)

It’s not baseball with a bigger ball or shorter field. It’s an amazing sport all to itself with ridiculously athletic women doing things that many of their male counterparts would struggle with. I enjoy ⚾️ and 🥎 for completely different reasons. @ChatardSoftball @GuerinSoftball
