@HaoYu04060116@UEF_EnvBio@UniEastFinland@AnneleVirtanen Congratulations Hao! You did a fabulous job defending your work against an excellent opponent in Prof. Francesco Loreto. It was a pleasure to oversee your defence as custos
Looking for a PhD? We have a new NERC-funded studentship open in my lab to investigate the impacts of air pollution on pheromone communication in insect. The studentship is in collaboration with @BenLangfordVOC at @UK_CEH To learn more and apply visit: https://t.co/swpI53xcEn
2nd meeting of our Max Planck Center nGICE https://t.co/jCKfmYd2Z9 Great talks from all our doctoral and postdoctoral researchers and by our advisory board members @astridgroot2 and James Blande

@HaoYu04060116@MKivimaenpaa@royalsociety Very pleased that this work is now published. Well done Hao! And congrats also on yesterday's presentation of this work at IUFRO Lisbon 2022
@Martinplantecol Thanks Martin! Very happy to have this work published. Particular credit goes to @TiszaPatrick. This work was conducted during his successful Marie Curie fellowship in our department @UEF_EnvBio
@Toby_Bruce@Martinplantecol Indeed, we had slightly different expectations for this study. From our experience, Plutella xylostella tends to make clear choices. The challenge can be to work out why. Good to work with the Maffei lab to work out a bit more about plant responses to chemical cues
@Martinplantecol Thanks for your interest @Martinplantecol. Indeed we had some slightly different hypotheses. Fortunately, Agnès Brosset was able to visit the Maffei lab to look at the system in more detail. It was a collaboration that we had planned for some time - maybe we will need a sequel
Our new publication on diurnal BVOC and photosynthesis trends of conifers was just published in Environmental Pollution. An exceptional effort by Hao Yu https://t.co/6DhrLNhF0C went into this finished article https://t.co/MIG7VNlGCl
@elinamantyla@UniTurku Thanks! It was a pleasure to speak in this seminar series. Great to give a research update, eight years after my last presentation in Turku!
Here's a short overview of @TiszaPatrick's Marie Curie research @UniEastFinland. Plants ‘talk’ to each other through chemicals to warn of hungry herbivores | Result In Brief | CORDIS | European Commission https://t.co/Evn1X9FWkB Available in 6 languages, thanks @CORDIS_EU.
