These are not humanitarian freedom organizations. They are death-dealing cults, and they want all of us to die brutal deaths.

William Buckley was abducted in 1985, an American military officer. He was skinned alive on camera by the Iranians. American prisoners of war who were captured. They were never called prisoners of war because they were captured by lunatic terrorists, so they were not subject to the Geneva Convention. They were captured and murdered, power drills through their brains. This is in Iraq. These are families that have dealt with this, and they've never gotten a single dime.

These families have never gotten restitution, and not a single president has ever stood up to them. Love Donald Trump or hate him, love his policies, hate ICE, love ICE, whatever. There's never been a single president who has stood up to Iran and hit back. For 47 years, our troops and our families have been absorbing attack after attack after attack all over the world.

And their radical ideology does not stop at the Persian Gulf. It doesn't stop at Tel Aviv. They want to do this everywhere. It's a global radical ideology, and we've been fighting it for half a century.

We didn't start this war. We did not, but we will finish it. And forever wars are not popular with anybody these days. Both sides of the love to attack our forever wars. And I can promise you, being someone overseas wearing the uniform, when you're fighting for your country, you don't care what party's in office, but you're fighting to defend your country, and you turn on the news and see your elected officials stabbing you in the back, telling you that you're failing, that you've failed every goal of the war, is what I just heard.

Last time I checked, we've wiped these bastards out. An occasional missile strike and boats in the straits, that's not military strength. Those are the flailings of a failing empire. - parts of Latin America

- and critically, a normalization framework with BOTH China and Russia where competition still exists, but catastrophic conflict is avoided through economic leverage, negotiated spheres of influence, energy coordination, and transactional diplomacy

This is one of the most misunderstood parts of President Trump’s geopolitical strategy.

Many Americans still think in Cold War terms:
America vs Russia.
America vs China.
Permanent hostility.

This is why you see such aggressive pushes around:

• energy independence
• critical minerals

• securing trade routes
• reducing dependency on hostile supply chains
• stabilizing great-power relations through leverage and economic pressure instead of permanent military escalation

This is not random.

This is an attempt to build a new geopolitical architecture for the next 50 years.

And whether people like President Trump or hate him personally is becoming irrelevant to the scale of what is unfolding.

So, like my daughter @DataRepublican, I've never made a formal endorsement either. I wanted to wait until after the primaries, but John Strand is so remarkable that I feel compelled to endorse now.

This is my district. There are quite a few candidates running for this seat, and many are good candidates. I've met them all and even know several of them. BUT John stands out.

What is most impressive to me is his J6 experience (as told by my daughter):

"In 2022, the DOJ offered John Strand a plea deal. One misdemeanor; a wrist slap. His co-defendant took a similar deal and got 60 days. All he had to do was say he was guilty of something he believed he wasn't guilty of. He said no... twice. He went to trial. A D.C. jury convicted him on all five counts, including a felony carrying up to 20 years. He was sentenced to 32 months in federal prison. He spent four months in solitary confinement ... punished, in part, for helping other J6 defendants get outside support and for speaking publicly about conditions inside. Then the Supreme Court ruled in Fischer v. United States that the obstruction statute used against him was wrongly applied. He was released, and on January 20, 2025, he was fully pardoned."

This kind of integrity cannot be ignored! He was recently endorsed by Turning Point USA @TPUSA. I'm quite sure Charlie would approve!

One of the underrated cultural impacts of Trump is a clear repudiation of safetyism.

Refusing to let a rain storm cancel his 250th address may not seem like a big deal. But you know Trump had to override a a swarm of panicked administrators to do it.

Trumps response to death is literally to fight, or quip that you “have to go sometime”. Maybe in your bed, many years from now, but not at the cost of the fight as Mel Gibson once said.

If George Washington walked through bullets we can stand in the rain.

If we want to reclaim our country we have to be able to handle the most modest expressions of courage.

It’s time to build, it’s time to live, even if it costs “just one life”. If we don’t we will wither to nothing from a lack of meaning. Trying to avoid all uncertainty will cost you everything you care about.
