They are gonna have a hard time keeping students in lockdown if my uni and some of the others are anything to go by. And if they expect us to pay for being locked down over Christmas, parents are gonna be pissed as hell. Bad idea telling you now it will cause big trouble.

Forcing students to stay on campus over Christmas is a bit much. They're going too far with the control they're trying to exercise over people. The smart move would've been to postpone this academic year until after Christmas. Fucking moronic how they're handling this.
