- this was the most expensive lfl script ever, with burns receiving $3M+

Ok this is INSANE. So Lucasfilm had everything planned out, a complete script everyone liked, staffing, budget, all ready to go.
And Iger still didn’t give them the green light?! WHAT.
Not to mention, it’s such a waste of money. This could’ve easily been a hit. Love or hate the sequels every one of them made huge money, and people loved Ben Solo.
Even just the announcement would’ve gotten people hyped "Oh, Ben Solo is coming back?! How is that even possible? I have to see this!" Something like that. Passing on that is crazy.
#StarWars fans paid to fly a plane over Disney Studios with a banner reading "Save The Hunt for Ben Solo," referring to the rejected Kylo Ren movie Adam Driver and Steven Soderbergh developed for two years.
Driver revealed to the AP that Disney execs Bob Iger and Alan Bergman axed the standalone movie. The actor said "The Hunt for Ben Solo" was “one of the coolest scripts I had ever been a part of,” with Soderbergh adding: "I really enjoyed making the movie in my head. I’m just sorry the fans won’t get to see it."

Spider-Man, meant represent the lower-class who may be so angry at life and their circumstances they self-sabotage, despite wanting to do good.
this is sadly underrepresented in his media nowadays. I hate that they may rinse all this nuance away
crazy how six issues of any random 1980s comic will give you more content, plot progression, character development, and words on a page than eighteen issues of any random 2020s comic
Jim Lee says DC Comics will not support AI generated storytelling or artwork. Not now, not ever as long as he is in charge.
"Because what we do and why we do
it is rooted in our humanity. It's that fragile, beautiful connection between imagination and emotion that fuels our media, the stuff that makes our universe come alive. It's the imperfect mind, the creative risk, the hand-drawn gesture that no algorithm can replicate. And when I draw, I make mistakes, a lot of them. But that's the point. The smudge, the rough line, the hesitation. That's me in the work. That's my journey. That's what makes it come alive. It's the product of true effort, of inspiration, and perspiration. Fans know this. They sense this. They can feel when something was made with care, when it cost the artist time, energy, heart, and effort. People have an instinctive reaction to what feels authentic. We recoil from what feels fake. That's why human creativity matters. AI doesn't dream. It doesn't feel. It doesn't make art. It aggregates it. Our job as creators, as storytellers, and as publishers is to make people feel something real. That's why we create, and that's why we're still here."

Legit if you don't read 60-80s Spider-Man you miss everything because no retelling or adaptation captures the essence of the original storylines.
This is why a lot of misconceptions about Gwen happens and lots of other things
@theogdaredevil So much love for their friendship but I always see Johnny, Harry (rip), and Flash coming first. Peter and Matt are more like coworker homies lmaooo
