No, they should be allowed to vote; and also to live in the rot for which they vote. I don’t live in LA, NY or Chicago. I’ve visited those cities several times in the past. I will never again so long as they remain in their current states. Those who live there must enjoy, or at least tolerate, shit in the streets, naked junkies in their parks, and skid row tent cities on every downtown street. So be it.
@chicatrixy@SteveRob Yes they would, which should answer your question. This information is being leaked by a) the DNC, b) Gov Mills’s campaign (she’s still on the ballots) or c) both.
@marylisa_m@gofishh77 Um, no. I have raised 4 children and raising a 5th. None of them ever acted like this. Additionally, I am the oldest of 4 and neither I nor any of my siblings acted like this.
What is your alternative, to enslave those "normal" people, and/or the healthcare providers? Hold them hostage, forcing them to pay $12000 per year or more for 50 years for health insurance which they may not ever need? Or force the practitioner to provide their service for less than market value?
It's supply/demand; the market economy. Stop virtue signaling like you don't understand this.
For those in the back row, the prices would plummet almost instantly. The providers would have no choice. Once the burden of payment is on the consumer, the product must be priced to their affordability. If a provider does not do this, they make no money, because no one can afford their product/service at their stated price. Those providers that do offer affordable prices are rewarded with continued existence.
@LarryJones So that when you start peeing, and then realize you forgot to lift the seat. With the cut out, you can lift midstream and still not get piss on the seat.
At least that's what I do; I'm not sure about everyone else.
On one hand, I feel for LA and the citizens. On the other, I’m reminded of HL Mencken’s quip, “people deserve the government they vote for, and they deserve to get it hard.” The question here is have the people of LA gotten it hard enough to now change course.
Good luck to you, Spencer Pratt. I’m hoping the people of LA want to save the city as much as you do. I have my doubts, but I’m praying that I’m wrong.
@SeanMcCarthyCom Jar of JIF peanut butter, $7 at Walmart
Jar of Smucker's jelly, $3 at Walmart
Loaf of Wonder Bread, $3 at Walmart
A loaf of bread has 20 slices, not counting the heals. That's 10 sandwiches. Figure 2 sandwiches per day for 5 days.
$140 - $13 = $127/week savings.
@MittRomney This age old adage is undefeated -- "When you come for the king, you'd better not miss". I guess neither of you were smart enough to learn that. Bye, losers.
@jenvanlaar Until I see the electorate of a blue city finally get fed up after decades of liberal decline, and vote a republican as mayor, yes, there is rock solid basis for this statement.
@SirBylHolte You missed some big ones:
"Leave the gun; take the cannoli", or "I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse"
“Yo, Adrian!!”
“Go ahead; make my day”
“Phone home!”
@sagesteele@stephenasmith Did he answer the question? His response is white people got theirs first. What kind of non sequitur bullshit is that? He can’t answer, else he makes himself the fool — like every knows he is.
Why am I supposed to care? We hear about this coverup and that law breaking; we hear about all of this shit from Republican members on both sides of Congress, who are in the fucking majority, and we hear the same shit from the fucking director of the FBI, and yet we never see major, solid indictments (not the bullshit case against Comey). We never see high ranking officials in handcuffs. To quote someone who we’d all love to see in shackles, what difference at this point does it make?
